Since December 2021, SK Group has started its own blood donation campaign ‘Life Sharing, Warm Contact’, starting with SK Group CEO Choi Tae-won’s voluntary participation. Later on, this campaign has expanded to not only the members of SK Group but to their family, business partners, social corporations, and even to public, under name of ‘SK Relay Blood Donation Campaign.’
SK Innovation has also extended the participation to every employee of the group from this January, where it started mainly around SK Innovation headquarter and SK Incheon Petrochem. Last January 13, starting with SK Innovation’s Institute of Environmental Science & Technology and SK Innovation Ulsan Complex, all SK Innovation affiliates’ members have been voluntarily donating blood.

The activity aims to alleviate the blood shortage, which has become more severe due to the current pandemic. About 60 members from SK Innovation and other SK Group affiliates such as SK E&S joined this meaningful activity this time. Despite the busy working schedule on June 14, many SK Innovation members visited the blood donor site inside SK Seorin Building from the morning.
