Chey Jae-won, Executive Vice Chairman of SK On, attended the IAA Mobility 2023 (hereafter, IAA) held in Munich, Germany. IAA 2023, one of the world’s four major motor shows, is taking place in Munich, starting with the IAA Pressday until September 10 (local time).
During his visit, Executive Vice Chairman Chey toured the booths of companies participating in the IAA, including Volkswagen, BMW, and Hyundai Mobis, and engaged in conversations with local officials on trends in mobility.
He said, “The strategic shift toward electric vehicle businesses by global automobile manufacturers is progressing faster than anticipated.” He further elaborated, “In the fiercely competitive European battery market, we are exploring opportunities for the expansion of close business collaborations with various automakers, including our existing clients.”
