SK Innovation’s official website (www.skinnovation.com), a communication channel for stakeholders, has been completely renovated. The English version was released on December 27, following the Korean version. The website is focused on emphasizing SK Innovation and its affiliates’ ESG visions, including ‘All Time Net Zero.’
As SK Innovation’s website serves as a “gateway” for the company to communicate with stakeholders, including its customers and investors, the company’s capabilities and blueprints toward a “Green Energy & Materials Company” are included on the website.
SK Innovation’s corporate identity (CI) in light green is placed at the top left and the bottom of the new homepage, which was designed in the same color. The color is called “SK Green,” one of eight auxiliary colors of the symbol mark “Wings of Happiness,” which was added to the company’s colors in 2020.
SK Innovation is the first among SK Group members to use the auxiliary CI color on its website instead of the main colors, “SK Red” and “SK Orange.” The action represents SK Innovation’s blueprint which values ESG management.
This October, Chairman of SK Group Chey Tae-won emphasized SK Innovation’s directions at company’s 60th anniversary ceremony, saying, “To move toward a ‘better company’ on the carbon issue, we chose ‘green’ as a theme that stands for the environment, going beyond the red and white of the company’s former Yukong days.”
One big feature of the renovated website is its responsive web* design. Whether you use a PC, a smartphone, or a tablet, the website converts itself to a form suited to the user’s environment, making it more accessible.

The content actively uses infographics so that users can see everything at a glance. SK Innovation’s eight subsidiaries are introduced by infographic of each company that imports oil, refines oil, creates petroleum and chemical products, and exports the products. Global business sites, including SK On battery plants, are configured on a large globe using animation effects for better legibility.
The menu at the top consists of four simple items: Company, Sustainability, IR (Investor Relations), and Career. This simple composition expresses SK Innovation’s commitment to ESG. Especially, the “ESG Report” and “ESG Performance Report,” which are annual publications that analyze the company’s ESG management performance and tasks, can be downloaded directly from the top menu for better transparency in disclosing information about ESG. The information that users frequently look for on the website, such as the company and its affiliates’ annual carbon reduction performance and management performance, can be accessed conveniently with one click.
Kim Woo-kyung, Head of SK Innovation’s PR office, said, “With SK Innovation’s new website, we want to share the company’s commitment to ESG including All Time Net Zero and its performance with all stakeholders.” The official added, “On the new website, we will continue to publicize the journey of SK Innovation becoming a global green energy and materials company leading ESG.”
